  1. How did you get your start in the entertainment industry?

I have been dancing since I was 5, but I got my real start in the industry when I was 15 when my team and I won “America’s Best Dance Crew.”

2. What is your favorite part about dancing?

Dancing is my main form of expression. I can say everything I need to say without having to say anything at all.

3. You’re currently a member of the “Drop The Mic” Tour, what has that experience been like for you?

Drop The Mic was an incredible experience! I had never been on a bus tour before, it was very different. I learned a lot about myself, had 12 amazing roommates and met some amazing supporters along the tour.

4. Have you ever hosted a tour before?

I’ve never hosted a tour before, so this was new for me. I really enjoyed it and look forward to doing more hosting!

5. What has been your favorite city to travel to so far?

Every city is amazing, but I really enjoy Nashville!

6. Is there any place you’ve never been to, but would like to visit?

I’ve never been to New Orleans; I would really love to go!

7.What is your favorite part about the tour?

I think my favorite part about tour was waking up in a different city every morning, meeting all the fans and performing. The show was a ton of fun!

8.What makes this tour different from others and why should fans come out and see it?

“Drop The Mic” is more of an interactive tour rather than a “hey we are just gonna stand on stage and not really do much” show. Those can be fun, but this was a full production and fans got to see us have an awesome time on stage dancing around!

9.Can you tell us about your new app?

My app is all the lastest Chachi info! There’s exclusive content, exclusive merch, blogs and it’s a place to make friends! I go in the app and love chat with my supporters frequently! It’s a blast!

10.What was the inspiration behind the app?

I wanted a place where my supporters could find all they need in one place. Rather than having to go to Twitter or Instagram, they have all my socials in one place. It’s like a Chachi Social Media in a way. I wanted to have a closer connection with my supporters. I can pick up my phone and chat with them directly at any moment and share my favorite things with them

11.Do you have any other upcoming projects that your fans can look forward to?

I’m getting into more acting and singing this year while keeping up with dancing. So excited to share what I’ve been working on!

12. Do you have any fun holiday plans?

I went back to my hometown, Houston and spent some time with my family and loved ones!

1. How did you get your start in acting?

My dad is a director/writer and my mom is a casting director.  So, I always knew about the business a little, but wasn’t totally interested.  When I was 7 years old my mom cast me in a local Utah film and I just fell in love with the process on set.  I’ve never been in a play and didn’t know at that age that acting was even something I would be good at or love. After that first project it just kind of felt like it was meant to be.

2. What is your favorite part about the job?

I love becoming a character.  I love exploring emotions and working with other creative people.   Also, being a social person, I really love meeting new people.  Acting allows me to meet new people and get to know them in a really deep way pretty quickly.  I really love that part of acting.

3. What has been your favorite character to play and why?

Charlie on Colony has been my favorite character.  I love getting to play a role for an extended period of time.  I also love building real relationships with my TV family.  It’s also the kind of role I love to play, serious and emotional.

4. Can you tell us about your character in your new holiday film “The Christmas Project?”

This was just pure fun!  I played Matthew Buckley. He’s the 2nd of four brothers.  He’s bullied at school and always in a losing competition with his older brother.  Matthew is just a good, kind kid who learns about the true Christmas Spirit when he has to be a Secret Santa for his bullies.

5. What was your experience like working on this wonderful project?

I loved the comedy and working with pretty much only kids.   This movie had so many fun, funny, and high energy moments.   It didn’t feel like work at all.  We just played the whole time!

6. Do you have a favorite scene that you filmed?

My favorite scene was when we rolled our youngest brother off the top bunk bed onto a pile of pillows.

7. How was this project different from others that you’ve worked on in the past?

It was very different than my usual roles.  It was light and fun rather than serious.  I didn’t have a disease, my parents were both alive, it was a happy family Christmas movie.  I only had to cry once!

8. Can you tell us about your character on “Colony?”

Charlie has been separated from his family for a year.  He has been abused and learned to develop a thick skin.  From his trauma, he has kind of shut down emotionally but also has become pretty world-wise and strong. Like I said, it’s the kind of role I book.  It’s been fun to get to play Charlie a little longer and explore his layers a little more.

9. What can fans expect from the second season?

They can expect even more twists and turns and a fast-paced storyline.  They can also expect lots of reveals and surprises!

10. Do you have any fun holiday plans?

After living away from my family for five months shooting Colony, I’m actually looking forward to a low key holiday hanging with my family.

11. What are your social media accounts?

Answer: Instagram: @jacob_buster and Twitter: @JacobBuster1.

Interview With Eloah Jones! (@EloahJones)

screen-shot-2016-12-12-at-6-06-54-pm

How did you get started in the music industry?

I started singing around age 11 and completely fell in love with it. My friends and family encouraged me to start singing in public, so I starting singing at church, talent shows etc. At age 12 I attended a talent showcase in Florida and performed in front of several producers. With lots of hard work, I eventually got noticed by some very influential people in the music business and that led to the release of my debut single.

  1. How would you describe your sound?

I would describe my sound as captivating, powerful and fun!

  1. Who are your favorite artists?

Selena Gomez, Banks, Lana del Rey & Taylor swift, to name a few! I love how they keep it real. I aspire to be that type of artist.

  1. If you could collaborate with any other artist, who would it be and why?

Most definitely the king of pop, Michael Jackson! He was an amazing performer, songwriter, and producer. I would have loved to have been able to work with him.

  1. Can you tell us about your new single “Soldier?”

Soldier is about staying strong when going through tough times. Even though my single “Soldier” is mostly about a break up, I feel like it can help people through any type of struggle. I think the song is very powerful and positive.

  1. Who or what influenced the song?

This past year  I went through a lot of adversity, and was very close to giving up. But then I realized there are so many people going through the same thing, so I wrote about my struggles to help myself, and others who are hurting. My main goal is for my music to be able to help people through tough situations. I care for people a lot.

  1. What is the writing process like for you?

Writing as always been therapeutic to me. It has been ever since I was young. Every day I write down lyrics in a journal, I write about how I feel. And if I ever have writers block, I’ll write something silly, like what I had for lunch! I’m constantly writing, lyrics usually come pretty easy to me!

  1. Do you have any other music or projects coming out soon?

Like I said, I’m constantly writing. I’m hoping to get in the studio soon. You will definitely be hearing more from me soon!

  1. What are your social media accounts?

10.Do you have any fun holiday plans?

I’m going to spend this holiday season with my amazing family and friends the Lord blessed me with! I think the best part of the holidays is being around your loved ones!

Interview With Marissa Heart From “HAIRSPRAY LIVE” (@MarissaHeart)

  1. How did you land your role in “Hairspray Live”?

My agent had emailed me saying that I was invited to the Hairspray Live “invited call” auditions and I remember exactly how excited I was!  Being a part of Hairspray has been a dream of mine since I was younger, so there was no way I was missing that audition. I went to the first auditions and received a callback so they handed me a packet that had sides and sheet music that I needed to have prepared for callbacks the following day.  At callbacks, they were making cut after cut and when there were only  about ten of us left. That’s when they had us go in one by one to be put on tape singing and reading our sides. Two days later I received the email saying that I was pinned for the role! I remember crying because I was so happy! A few days later, my agents called me and told me that I had booked it! I screamed so loud I couldn’t contain myself!

  1. Can you tell us about your character?

My character is Tammy and she’s the flirtiest of all of the Nicest Kids! She was so much fun to play! She’s also one of the girls who is closest to Amber so I got to be bratty towards Tracy which is the total opposite of how I am in real life!

  1. How are you similar to your character?

I’m not very similar to Tammy when she was being mean which is why she was so much fun to play!  When we would be doing our dance numbers and would be overly happy and cheesy, that’s how I am most of the time so I related to that.

  1. What has the experience of working on such a spectacular project been like for you so far?

This is truly the most incredible experience of my life!!  I have never been a part of anything like this.  The Hairspray Live family and experience is truly something that I will carry with me forever.

  1. How is this project different from others you’ve worked on in the past?

No other project that I have worked on has ever had the bond that we’ve created! We are genuinely a big family that has so much unconditional love for one another.

  1. Do you have a favorite scene?

My favorite scene would have to be when we perform “Nicest Kids In Town”! I love that all of us Nicest Kids had the opportunity to introduce ourselves on national television!

  1. Can you tell us about your role on “Breaking Through”?

I played Tara in “Breaking Through” and I absolutely loved playing her! She was very similar to how I am in real life, so she was really fun to play. She was just a nice, sweet girl who wanted to have fun, be accepted and be a part of the crew!

  1. Do you have any upcoming projects?

I’ve been having some meetings with different networks with my agency regarding a new show!  It’s so exciting!!  I’m also working on creating and recording new music!

  1. Where can fans stay connected with you on social media?

I use Instagram the most! It’s my favorite social media outlet to post on because I feel like it’s the best way to connect with fans! My Instagram handle is @marissaheart!  I also use Twitter (@marissaheart) and Facebook (marissaheartt)!

Interview With Jillian Shea Spaeder! (@JillianSpaeder)

  1. Can you tell us about your Disney XD show “Walk the Prank?”

Walk the Prank is a really funny show about four kids who have a popular online hidden camera show where they prank people. What makes it different is that we prank REAL people, so the show combines scripted comedy and real-life pranks.

  1. How would you describe your character Bailey?

Bailey is edgy, tech-savvy and sarcastic. She is one of the guys but definitely think girls rule the world!

  1. What are the similarities and differences between you and your character?

Actually, I’m pretty much just like Bailey but maybe a little less sassy. She calls the principal by her first name—I would never do that!

  1. What has been your favorite episode to film so far?

My favorite episode was “Blind Date,” where I find out that Uncle Will has a date with my mom. Bailey is NOT happy about that, so it was fun for me to act nervous about the possibility of him being my stepdad.

  1. You’re also a musician, can you tell us about your music?

I come from a very musical family. My parents have a band, and I started doing a few songs with them around age 9. I got a guitar last year and a ukulele this year, and I love to play both. I also enjoy songwriting and I’ve starting working on some original music that I hope to release at some point next year.

How would you describe your sound?

I’ve always had a raspy speaking voice, so my singing voice has a little bit of grit in it! Most people are surprised when they hear me sing, because I sound older.

  1. Where do you post your singing videos?

Recently I started a YouTube channel (Jillian Shea Spaeder) for my cover songs (and hopefully my originals at some point!). I also do some 15-second versions occasionally on Musical.ly.
